Guidance and Flexibility
Traditional hand-sewn lampshade styles, such as pleated and gathered lampshades, as well as vintage designs like Tiffany or scalloped-edge lampshades, typically require around two days to finish. Depending on your sewing ability and pace, these lampshades can be completed within a day and a half. Modern hardback styles, including scalloped-edge designs, can often be finished in half a day. The fully lined box-pleated lampshade, consisting of a loose top cover and a hardback empire base, typically takes about a day and a half to complete.
After the first day, we’ll discuss your progress and preferences, tailoring the course to your goals and pace to ensure you master each technique.

Course Fee: One-to-One Tuition £3500
Two Instalment Payment Option (Please note that direct bank transfers are the only accepted payment method, and students are responsible for any bank transaction fees incurred. PayPal is available if you choose to pay the full course fee upfront)
Spread the cost of your course with my convenient two-instalment payment plan. To secure your reservation:

After completing the first instalment, you’ll receive:
- A payment receipt.

I’ll schedule a telephone call to discuss date availability and address any queries you might have. Once the dates are verbally confirmed, you’ll receive an email holding the reservation for three days. To secure your booking, full payment is required within three days, or you can opt for our two-instalment option to ease any financial concerns. Payments can be made via major debit/credit cards, Bacs, or PayPal in pounds, with any international transaction fees being the responsibility of the student. Please note that bookings operate on a first-come, first-served basis due to limited spaces. For cancellations by students, a full refund is offered if requested in writing up to 28 days prior to the course. Within 28 days, I provide transfer options up to 10 days before the course starts. In exceptional cases like bereavement or flight cancellations, please provide proof, and I’ll explore alternate dates where possible.
